1. Establishing information centers in 492 upazilas of Bangladesh;
2. About Information Technology (01) Empowering one crore rural women and helping them to solve everyday problems through information technology;
3. providing e-commerce support through information centers;
4. Building tech-savvy teams through e-learning;
5. Development of webportal, database, database IPTV and MIS.
Aim of the project
'ICT' (Information and Communication Technology) is contributing as a very powerful medium in improving the social position of women by giving them equal rights and opportunities in information technology knowledge. The great initiative of building 'Digital Bangladesh' will be fully implemented if the empowerment of women initiative can be qualitatively and measurably brought to the brink of success with the help of 'ICT' capabilities and skills.
Access to information and providing IT services to disadvantaged, poor, disadvantaged or underprivileged women in rural Bangladesh will undoubtedly accelerate women's empowerment. For this purpose, the Ministry of Women and Child Affairs has adopted the project titled "Tathyapa: Empowering Women through Information Communication Technology to Build Digital Bangladesh". The project was successfully implemented in 13 upazilas in the 1st phase by the National Women's Organization under the Ministry of Women and Child Affairs.
In continuation of this, with the aim of reaching the grass root women in all upazilas of Bangladesh, the 05 (five) year period (from April 2017 to May 2022) "Tathyaapa: Empowerment of Women through Information Technology Project (2nd Phase) to build Digital Bangladesh" has been adopted. In the 1st Amendment, the implementation period of the scheme has been extended till June 2023
