Future plan

Future plans

 Project output at the end of the project period will be managed under the supervision of National Women's Organization.  The online activities (Web Portal, Data Repository, InfoPA IP TV, MIS software and related equipment/parts) and computers and other equipment of the National Women's Organization will be maintained in the custody of the National Women's Organization.  The online activities will be funded by the Government of Bangladesh.  In this case, posts will be created with the consent of the Ministry of Public Administration and Finance.  It is to be noted that after the end of the project period, the field level activities of the InformationApa project will be continued through the district and upazila offices of the National Women's Organization.  At present there are offices of National Women's Organization in 64 districts and 50 upazilas.  In the remaining upazilas, the process of establishing the office of the National Women's Organization is in progress.

 The following steps are being taken to ensure the sustainability of the project:

 Mind Inspire to National Achievement (MINA) team formed.  Training is being provided to equip and motivate them.  They will make the rural women aware of various issues including providing information services under the project.  The members of this group will act as a symbolic awakening for social development at the local level.

 Development of e-learning portal has been undertaken to specifically empower women entrepreneurs through e-learning.

 DataUpar e-commerce initiative Lalsabuj.com marketplace developed for sale of products produced and collected by rural women will be managed under the supervision of the authorities during the project period
