Achievements

Achieving the first phase of the project


 Under the Ministry of Women and Children's Affairs, the National Women's Organization under the Ministry of Women and Children's Affairs, the Women's Empowerment Project was implemented in the 1st phase from July 2011 to December 2015.


 In the first phase of the project, 13 information centers were established in the following 13 upazilas:

 2,63,329 rural women are provided information services through 13 information centres;


 25323 rural women were made aware of IT related activities through courtyard meetings;


 Web portal, information repository, Women TV, MIS software, mobile application and call-center were established.
